I have a friend who every time she sends me pictures, they come across as a
big square with a red x in the top left hand corner. I get pictures OK with
other e-mails. How can I help her. I'm pretty sure that its her computer
that has something not checked. Thanks

We would need to know the e-mail client you are using, and the e-mail client
she is using.

If you are using OE, can you send a picture to yourself OK? If you both are
using OE, make sure she has Send Pictures With Messages checked in Tools |
Options | Send | Mail Sending Format | HTML Settings.

Also if you are both using OE, see these links.

She is using Road Runner and I am using AT&T Yahoo. If that helps.

The ISP is not important. The e-mail client is. You posted this using
Outlook Express. If you use OE for mail and your friend does also, then see
my previous reply. If your friend uses Road Runner Webmail, or another
e-mail client, then I can't help.

If you /are/ using Outlook Express for mail and can send yourself a graphic
OK, then the problem is not on your end.

She might be using an image file format that your e-mail
client doesn't recognize. What file format are the images
(ie. extension)?
