First of all, I think you're talking about size of 'attachments', not the
email itself.
With that out of the way, it depends on who you're talking about; If you're
talking about your ISP, then you need to talk to someone there. Each pay
and free email service has their own limit I suppose, so you need to check
with them. I use Fastmail (yes, they have a free version) and I've never hit
the limit yet.
Sending multiple emails and using a splitter is one alternative.
