E-mail Thread Asset Tracking

Is there anyway in Outlook to see who has read your e-mails. For example. If
I send e-mail to someone and I want to make sure that they are not working
with my competitors (ie - forwarding my confidential e-mail to my
competition), is there any way in outlook or software available that would
notify me if the intended recipient of my e-mail forwarded it to someone else
and to whom they sent it?

Can this type of tracking and information be found and done?

Not unless you are in a closed and controlled environment. You would
need to be using Outlook 2007, your recipient would need to be using
Outlook 2007, both of you must be sending and receiving e-mails through
the same Exchange 2007 mail server, and your domain must be running a
Rights Manager (RM) server. Does that sound like your corporate
environment? Even if so, once you send an e-mail outside of that closed
environment, you lose all control over your e-mails because YOU don't
get to control anyone else's property.
