An alternative is to edit the .htm file that the signature editor creates using Word or some other editor.

You should be able to use %appdata%\Microsoft\Signatures to reach that folder in Windows Explorer. %appdata% is an environment variable that will evaluate to your personal Application Data folder. In WIndows Explorer, use the Tools | Folder Options command to display hidden and system folders.
