Atempting to set up a form to enable visitors to respond
by e-mail. Mh web host has FP server extensions
installed. The FP form dialogue box gives me an error
message as follows:

"This form is being created on a disk-based web or the
FrontPage server extensions have not been configured to
send e-mail. Please direct your Internet Service Provider
to the instructions in "Setting up e-mail options on
Windows" in the Server Extension Resource Kit. You can
find it at http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk.
That web address cannot be found according to Internet
Explorer.

Please send suggestions.

Did you follow the instructions in the dialogue box by contacting your host
to configure the forms to email in the extensions?

If you are workign on your Web locally and then publshing that, you will get that error when you set
the form properties because your hard drive can't handle the form. However, after you publish it,
it should work fine if everything is set correctly.

Gene--
The same thing happened to me, but as the other post says,
as soon as you publish it it will work fine!
