E-mail Notification

I have Windows Live Messenger 8.5. and it notified me that I have received a
new e-mail message. But when I opened my inbox I found nothing, and nothing
too at junk folder. But Messenger still refers to (1) unread message at my
inbox. Really don't know why?!!!

At times, the notification number gets "confused". It'll just fix itself.
