e-mail notification at logon

Dim

During the last several weeks when the logon screen
appears, I get a notification for my user-name: "1
unread e-mail message". However, when I check all
existing e-mail clients, there are no unread messages
there.
Why do I get such a notification and where to look for
the message, if it is correct?

Thanks!

Hi

You can download TweakUI from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp and when
installed go to Programs>Powertoys for Windows XP>Tweak UI - then go to
Logon>Unread Mail - disable it in the right hand pane.
