I can't reply or forward certain e-mails in Outlook 2003, they stay locked in
the outbox, there is an error message that says check to see if your ISP
supports SSL, this all works fine on my other computer with Outlook 2003.

Hai,
Tools>e-mail accounts>properties>more settings.
compare the settings with that of other computer which works well.
SSL settings will be mentioned in more settings option.
once you complete test the account.
complete the process by clicking on finish.
let us know the issu.

I have done that, all the settings are the same, it is only when I reply or
forward some e-mails, doesn't happen to all of them, in addtion the problem
seemed to appear when I did an up date. It doesn't happen when I generate the
e-mail, only when i reply or forward.

Hi,

I have the same problem as describe below for the last 3-4 days. I cannot
send any email but I can receive. It finds the server but there is no
response from the server. It says to verify that the port and SSL info is
correct. I validated with the ISP that everything is fine.

What did you do to fix your problem?
