e-mail error messags

I sent an e-mail and I used the wrong address. How do I
get rid of the message that keeps poping up, that "the
message could not be sent because one of the recipients
was rejected by the server"...this meesage is weeks old
and have now got the correct e-mail address but I can't
get rid of this old error message.

What mail program?

Go to the Outbox or whatever your mail program calls it and delete the
message.
