Cannot get rid of an old Sending error

SusanM

Using Windows Mail on Vista, I sent an email out that had a comma in it, and
got a reject message from the recipients server. I corrected the email
address and resent properly, but now whenever I send any emails out, I keep
getting this error message pop up window. How do I get rid of this message
window - the STOP button is ghosted out, all I have is HIDE and DETAILS.
There is no option to ignore or delete the message so that it does not keep
popping up. I have included the message below:

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was 'michellemalakoff@yahoo,com'. Subject 'Fw:
God Pause for Monday, 7/20/2009', Account: 'pop.accesscomm.ca', Server:
'smtp.accesscomm.ca', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 5.1.3
<michellemalakoff@yahoo,com>... Invalid route address', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Have you corrected Michelle's address in her entry in Windows Contacts yet?

Open the Outbox folder. Either delete any messages you see there or else
move them to the Drafts folder. If it won't allow you to delete, go offline first
(File, Work Offline).

You did not tell us exactly what procedure you use to send
your emails. Based on your error message, it sounds like
you are using auto-complete? That is where you type the
beginning of an address and the computer fills-in the rest.
If so, you can't get rid of the comma error by just changing
your contacts.

1) Turn off auto-complete and don't use it.
WM->Tools->Options->Send Tab->Uncheck
Automatically complete e-mail addresses when composing
Use some other method rather than auto-complete. Such
as, click the TO: field and then choose the proper address.

2) Edit the auto-complete list.

Yup - that worked - it was in the Outbox... didn't even think to look there.
I changed her Contacts information and took off the auto complete as
suggested too. Thanks for all the help!
