Can I specify which e-mail program access will use when sending e-mails from
the database? If so, how?

Hi JP, I like your initials.

If there is a way from within the program to control which email program
will be used, I haven't found it.

What I have found is that the MAPI interface will use whichever e-mail
program is defined as the default e-mail program in the web browser.

In Internet Explorer 6.x, that's set by Tools|Internet
Options|Programs|E-Mail

I think that the setting for IE 5.x is similar

If you don't use SendObject, you can specifically invoke a particular
e-mail program (if the program is installed). Some can be automated,
some cannot but can be called through a MAPI interface. See Tony Toews'
