e-mail being deleted but...........

I have a strange probem. My emails are being automatically deleted when i
leave outlook express, then go back to it. But the deleted emails are NOT
going into the deleted file,unless it is an email I have deleted that I have
NOT read. If it is an email I have read, then it does not go into the
deleted folder. This is happening by itself, and I have lost some important
emails. Another thing that is strange is if I right click on the in folder
icon, and then click properties, the drop down tells me I have 121 emails,
with none unread. But were are they? Can anyone help. I did a restore to
approximately a full month BEFORE this problem started. I have virus scan
and even ran it again even though it is open all the time. Any help? Thanks

Go to Top tool bar>view>current messages and make sure All messages show not Hide all read
messages.
