E Drive

I have a question concerning my E Drive. Randomly, every 3 minutes or so, my
PC prompt/arrow acts like it is trying to read a disk in my e drive. The
drive is empty, but the system seems to want to read something in the drive.
Any info would be helpful .

Clear your Recently Used Documents list (rightclick start menu/Properties...)
 
Thanks for your response. I tried as you suggested, but my PC still
continues to try and read an e drive disk when there's nothing there. Could
it be Windows Media Player?
