Dynamic Web Templates

When I download my site for editing in FrontPage 2003,
all of the code for the FrontPage Dynamic Web Templates
that I had set up on the pages is missing. Is it possible
to edit a site "Live" and still be able to use this
FrontPage 2003 feature?

Thanks,

Ed

The Dynamic Template is not supported under the FP extensions, only locally under a Disk-based web
(c:\..)

However I am confused, since you mention downloading the site and then ask about editing the site
"Live".

Sorry, what I met was, bringing the site into FP via my
browser to edit the pages "Live" rather than editing it
from the files on my computer and then "Publishing" it.

I'm trying to set this site up so the pages can be edited
from 2 different computers using the Dynamic Web
Templates that I've set up. I'm not sure how to do this
without the 2 people overwriting each others work. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks... Ed

Not possible, unless the site is hosted on a Windows 2003 server running Windows Sharepoint Service.

You would need for both users to publish the site to a disk-based web, such as C:\webname, then make
changes and re-publish.
