Dynamic Disk

Hi - My job deskside IT support. I have a user that
backed up his data to a dynamic disk (W2K) before I
reimaged his primary disk with a basic WinXP partition.
He did not give me access to the backup disk beforehand,
so I didn't know it was dynamic. Can I switch the WinXP
partition to a dynamic disk and get access to the data?
Or is there any other way I can get the data off of the
dynamic disk?

Is it a second phyical disk?

If it is and he dis not assign a drive letter to the
volume he created for his back up then (if you have
permission) it can be refference in UNC format.
\\computer\volume\folder\file.ext

Open disk manager and the name(s) of the volumes will be
on the second disk.

(I assume he did not try to make any monuted volumes to
any "C:\Mointpoint-Empty-Folder" or other fancy volume
stuff.

GL, :)
