DX9.0b on XPe build - issues.

Hello,

What are the consequences of installing DX9.0b on an XPe
build, rather than using XPe's DX8 component? Have been
experiencing run-time problems, which only materialise after
several hours. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Got a problem - for the dual XEON machine, installation of the Dx9.0b at
FBA stage kills the MS DTS. On the single CPU boards all seems to be OK.

I've had the same problems as Nikolai, but with a Via M10000 motherboard.
After a while (and a few reboots), the DTC just died, whish stopped all
sorts running (like ASP). I think if you install post FBA then its OK, but I
am nervous about saying definately.

MS staffers dont seem to comment on this one.

Now there is a WMP9 component, maybe a DX9 one is imminent?
