dx5150 cool and quiet

I have an HP DX5150. I have Cool and Quiet set to AUTO (not disabled)
in the BIOS.

I've tried installing both HP as well as AMD's cool and quiet drivers.

My home PC is an ASUS, and I see in the AMD dashboard the CPU and
Voltages change with utilization.

The HP DX5150 stays constant.

Any suggestions? Did I forget to do something?

Did you set Power savings in Windows to "Minimal" ?

I thought I did. I'll try that again. It's really an issue of;

powercfg /query

and Processor Throttle (AC) = adaptive -- isn't it?

powercfg /change "name" /processor-throttle-ac adaptive

should turn it on, right?

I've got 15 of these babys coming in on a truck right now. I'll give
it another go on these.

Okay, I got it to work. I am use to the ASUS PC I have which seems to
change CPU speed quicker than the HP. The HP stayed at full throttle
even with nothing running for about 5 minutes. Then the CPU throttled
down to around 1Ghz.
