I'm getting an error at shutdown consistently saying that
dwwin.exe cannot run because Windows is shutting down. I
don't see the file in my Services or my Startup section
in MSConfig.

Any ideas?
 
Had the same problem. FDo you have a Gravis Xterminator
gamepad, that's the cause. Go into msconfig, disable the
Gravis grxp4exe.exe, and reboot. Then reboot again and
you won't get the error. About fixing it, not a clue as I
still have that problem but my system shuts down anyway.
