DVDRW and CD Burning

I was trying to use the CD Burning feature of Windows XP
with a DVDRW. It says that the disk is not a blank CDRW
(it's a DVDRW) and will not proceed. Is there a way to
make Windows XP support a DVDRW?

The native XP burning feature does not support writing to DVD; you will need
a third party utility like Nero Burning Rom or Roxio Easy CD Creator.
