Do you mean you have PowerDVD installed or just a powerful dvd player? You
need software, such as Cyberlink PowerDVD or WinDVD to play the DVDs. The
DVD player won't do it on it's own. If you have software download the
latest updates.

Also check the region of Your DVD disc (it to be written onthe box) and DVD
drive (Start|Run|"DevMgmt.msc" -> DVD properties)
IF they do not match - You do not have roght to play this disc.
