DVD video on a CD-R

Is there a way to write a DVD video to a CD-R? We have a short movie and
want DVD quality (plus want it to play on a DVD player), but don't want to
waste the space or money using DVD+R media if possible. VCD quality is not
good enough--we already tried that. Can't figure out how to make an SVCD in
MM2; otherwise that might be OK.

You may buy a tower DVD-R Prico 4x 100 units for a low
cost unit!!!!

Hello there,

Yes you can. There are several commercial packages around that can do it,
and I would be amazed if there is no "free" route that you can take....Your
best bet would be to go to DVDR-Help its in the links > Video section of my
website...you may also find that taking the DivX route is possible...if you
do there are potential problems for movie maker....a fix for that specific
problem is on my website in the downloads section. Its called "Rename
Codecs" there is also a tutorial on my site that will show how to use that
program. If you have no problems with your machine at this time don't
bother downloading it.

There are a few places you can explore from the VIDEO Links on my site
