Dvd sometime want me burn a disk with data disk

I've have some problem regarding in DVD burner or ( E dirve ), Sometime i
insert my data disk in my DVD RW drive in( E drive ) and prompt me " burn a
disk," but it is data disk should reading a file rather to tell me to burn a
disk. and each time happened i need to restart my computer again able to
read my file. hope someones can help me........

Review the CD/DVD options area in Control Panel to confirm they are set to
get the behavior you expect when you insert a disk into the drive. You may
need to review the Windows Help and Support feature under Start. Launch the
feature and search on CD options, or DVD options, or DVD burn, etc., to
review the instructions for handling these functions. Getting the behavior
you want is a little tricky until you get used to using those functions.
