DVD ROM not working

Can anyone help? my primary dvd drive is not working, it does not load any discs. i have a secondary drive which works but i would like both to work. The error message is F:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function.
 
Do you have a problem indicator in the Device Manager relating to this drive
