DVD-ROM not recognized by Windows 2000

My Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R2212 is detected by the system as a
hareware, but it does not show up in the Window Explorer.

The message in the Device Manager says "This device is not
working properly because Windows cannot load the driver
required for this device (Code 31).

Please help.

Load the driver.
