How do I access dvd+r discs from my standard dvd drive in xp pro? Is there a
driver I can load. My toshiba laptop is fine, its my pc thats the problem.

Check with the DVD drives manufacturers website and your manual. If the
drive does not support reading DVD+R disks, it won't read DVD+R disks.

P.S. Some DVD writers and/or software can set the DVD+R disk to be read(?)
as a normal DVD Rom. Called bitsetting/booktype. www.google.com.
