DVD+R/+RW

My Liteon DVD+R/+RW suddenly stopped working. It continues to tell me to
insert a blank disc while one is in drive. It was working one day and the
very next it stopped.

Have you tried to update the DVD creation software? Have you tried a CD
(instead of DVD) disc??

We have had units fail like that. Some will actually recognize a blank
for several minutes after the machine has been off (cold ) for some time
but after 10 minutes or so it will not recognize the blank. Also some
brands of blanks will be recognized longer. Whole upshot is that the
drive is dying.

My device manager is displaying my DVD+R/+RW yet a yellow symbol is
showing.Wndows successfully loaded the hardware but cannot find the hardware
device (code 41) can anyone please help i have beening my brains to no avail.
