I HAVE A SONY 'VAIO' WITH WIN=XP. DON'T KNOW WHICH DVD
I CAN USE FOR RECORDING. SONY AIN'T NO GOLD MINE OF
INFORMATION. THANX

DVD +R supports 4x speed where dvd-r is mostly 2.4x speed.
+r is better supported on most domestic dvd players.
is your dvd drive +r or -r drive.

I'm receiving my sony a510a drive tomorrow which supports
+ and - so it makes not difference to me.
From what I have read, +r/+rw is better for video.
costs a bit more that -r though.
