dvd player

Hi there wondered if anyone could help.
My dvd player has been set from region 2 to region 1, i have one last chance
to reset it back to region 2 , however when i try to do this, message appears
that says, dvd region change unable to update region setting, make sure the
drive contains region 2 media and you have addmin privilege,(what do i do?).

Put a region 2 DVD in the drive.....and then change the region
