hi when i open power dvd orany other dvd program and try to play a movie .,
i get this message a disk with unsupported format in drive D. any
suggestions
 
Are you able to play any other movies? Have you ever been able to play
movies on this computer? Was this movie purchased retail or was it in a
burned DVD?
 
When inserting a DVD containing an exclusive movie, PowerDVD should
automatically open and begin playing the movie. Autoinsert must be enabled
for the DVD hardware.

Using more than one playing software may cause problems for the above to
occur.
 
yes i have tried different movies and they are store bought movies. the dvd
player plays maybe, 1 in 10 movies.
