Can anyone tell me of a good DVD Player/Decoder program that works well with
XP? I didn't get one with my computer and I can't play DVD's that are pre
made....I would like to be able to get a program so I can watch them on my

For playing DVDs in XP, this is the best and it's free:

One free alternative would be Media Player Classic
(http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm)
If you are planning to buy Nero Burning ROM you will get Nero Showtime that
will play DVD's quite nicely.
Other options (you will have to pay) are PowerDVD and WinDVD.

XP? This is a Vista newsgroup. I suggest you post to one of the many XP
newsgroups.
