Howdey Guys,

Just two qucik question, my dvd player in my computer seems to be jumping on all my DVD's and so i think the lens is dirty but it only seems to be on my dvd's and not on my normal disks so first question:

1) Does the hardware use diffrent lenses for dvd's and normal cd's?

and the second question:

If it does then what can be done to get it cleaned, what product do i buy to get it cleaned?

Thanks :thumb:

The cleaning disc has a little brush attached to it. That’s how it works:D

You could run one of those disc cleaners through it they sometimes help...But those lasers are easy to knock out of line so be careful if you go lookin any further as calibration can be costly and its usually cheaper to buy a new dvd Player than mess around getting a repair....

Normally once they start playing up it's time to replace the unit...
