DVD dosen't work after installing service pack 4

I've installed service pack 4 for Windows 2000 and now my
dvd player just dosen't play dvd's. It was working fine
before service pack 4. I've searched for two days for
something regarding this issue on your knowledge base with
no results. Does anyone have a clue about this problem or
any solution?

I just posted something similar but it is my CD-ROM which
now always says "Insert CD" if I try to explore the CD-
ROM. Like your problem this started AFTER installing SP4.
To add insult to injury it has also taken out my sound
card (which I have the latest drivers for).

I have the same problem with cineplayer and the Matrox
G550 card. In the matrox forum they have agreed that
there is a problem with cineplayer and SP4 but until now
they have given no solution.
