DVD Decoder Message

I keep getting pop-ups on my screen that tell me I need
to upgrade my DVD Decoder as it might be compatible with
my system. Can anyone tell me what this means and what I
should do about it?

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: DVD , and hit enter.
Click on the topic titled: "DVD Troubleshooting".

Try reinstalling your DVD decoder. If you don't have one, you'll
need to purchase and install one. Some suggestions:
