DVD Burning has become slow

With a lot of DVDs to burn. Where on earth should one start looking to
resolve such an issue is it more likely to be an issue with my Sony 820a
hardware, Nero, or PC setting?

is there anything one should try or look for. DVD burning used to take on
average about 10 minutes at 16x now it takes 25 minutes - what could have
caused this?

See if your drive is in PIO mode instead of DMA mode. MVP Hans-Georg
