Dvd burner

I can't get windows to load up just my dvd burner. When it see's it, it loads up a removable drive, an optical drive, and a cd rom drive for it. Hardware settings in the control panel acknowlege that there is a dvd rom drive and that it has a driver.
I can still use the drive to watch dvds but i can't burn with it.
Any help would be apreciated joe

Go to the DVD manufaturer's website and see if they have for download not just the driver, but a complete driver + driver installer program package.
