DV Camera

S

Santino

When attempting to send my webcam, using Messenger 6.1, to
another user I get a message stating that my camera is
either 'in use by another program or turned off' I have
setup the camera using the Audio/Video tuning wizard and
all goes well, but when I go into 'Camera Settings' I get
a message that states that:

You cannot change your camera settings because either
your camera is not plugged in to your computer or you are
using is in a video conversation or with another program.

If someone could point me in the write direction to fix
this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Greetings Santino,

Are you just clicking the 'Webcam' button in MSN Messenger 6.1? If so, the 'Webcam' button
really only supports actual webcams. Assuming both sides are using Windows XP (otherwise
this won't work), click the Actions menu and choose "Start Video Conference" (which is
actually what is being tested in the Audio/Video Tuning Wizard).
