using camera with msn messenger 6.1

Using v6.1 I am able to go into the audio/vid tunning
wizard, and I can see myself on video during the tuning
of video. But when I go to Actions-Start Video Confrence
it tells me that i can not change my camera settings cause
either the camera is not plugged in, or is in use in
another vid-conversion or other program. (which of course
it is not).
i'm using a pc-camera 6029
Can someone help me?
