After selection of my webcam using the audio/video tuning
wizard a different video source appears on the camera
settings window of the MSN Messenger and also during a
videoconference. It is a TV image of the Hauppauge WINTV
card. The only way I know to prevent this is disabling
the Hauppauge video driver. But then I am not able to
view TV.

Is there someone in this universe who knows how to attack
this problem?

Thank you.

I am having the exact same problem and have not found a
way to correct it. Help....!

Why dont you use the your Hauppauge WinTV camera facility
to get your picture on the screen in messenger or for
video conferencing ?
I do it works fine.
cheers

Thank you for your suggestion. If this problem can't be
solved I intend to do this. However I have to buy a video
camera first.
