Duplicating a user

Hello, All!

I have my administration account setup on xp pro and have installed all of
the programs, network connection, etc. How does one now add a user account
that would not be an admin account but would have all of the same programs,
desktop, etc as the admin account?

Thanks,
Colonel Blip.

I guess this would work ok if I had not installed a number of programs as
User rather than All users.

Thanks,

Colonel Blip.

I'm not sure what you mean as far as installing Users, rather than All
Users, I'm guessing that whatever programs you installed gave you those
options, but I've never encountered it, but typically, when you add a
limited account most of the programs are accessible to the limited account,
i.e. Norton, firewall, games, etc, as well as internet connection, via
cable. For dial-up you might have to configure it manually. It's been a
while since I've had dial-up. The programs may not be on the desktop, but
perhaps in ALL PROGRAMS.
If not, you can add those programs to the to the All Users folder in
Explorer. Maybe it would help if you names a couple of the programs you are
having trouble with.

Or, set it up as an administrator account, see if the programs load, then
change the account to a limited account.
