Duplicate names in address book

When in Outlook, whenever I click the Address book, for
my contacts, I get duplicate names, for every single
contact, in the list. The first name shows the e-mail
address and the second name, shows the business fax
number.
I need the name with the fax number not to show.
When i'm in MS Word or another program, I get single
listings of names, like I should.
I'm sure its a simple setting, but I cannot figure it out.

The those aren't duplicates. The standard behavior for the Outlook Address
book is to display all electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That
behavior cannot be changed. The only way to prevent the display of fax
numbers is to store them in a different field or to disguise them (e.g.,
precede them with an alpha character) so that Outlook won't recognize them
as phone numbers.
