duplicate names and structure?

Should duplicate names cause problems if names are under
different folders/structure within website? For instance
two index.html(one is home page and other is within
Webalizer Web folder). Pictures such as carwash1.jpg
which is on webpage and is also in photogallery. Should
this cause problems publishing such as duplicate file
name problem?

no,
because they really do have different file names. one is named
webalizer/something.bla and the other one is named something/something.bla.
so the only thing that could hurt you is folder size of your web. I'm
surprised you're host would have them on a FrontPage web where you could see
them. are you ftp ing into this folder?
