Duplicate Name on Network

I have a small (2 computer) wireless home network. Both
run XP. When I start up a computer I get the "A duplicate
name appears on the network" error message. I can close
the message and continue to run fine. One computer does
have 2 HD, but I don't think that's the issue. Any
suggestions on how to discover where the error message is
being generated from?

First, check to make sure each computer has a unique name. Look in the
System applet (Control Panel) on the Computer name tab. It is also good
practice to *not* name your computer the same as a user account. So, if
you've named your computer "Kim" and you are logging in as "Kim", try
changing the computer name to something else and see if that solves the
