Duplicate Emails Outlook 2003 ?

SIMILAR QUESTIONS I FOUND, BUT NO ANSWERS, not even from MS.

Decided to post a new thread seeing that this has been going on for alot of
users for some time, and since moving from outlook xp to 2003 the problems
began..

Please continue to add to this thread if your meeting the same criterial
please. See if we or microsoft can sort the problem...

Help advice apprciated in advance.

Do you have more than one POP3 account from the same provider configured in
your Outlook? Configure only one account to receive and see if this resolves
your issue;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button Send/Receive-> button Edit...->
select second account-> disable Receive items

having same issue. only have one POP account configured in Outlook
2003 on XP SP2 and duplicates appear on daily basis. have searched the
net, but no solutions. anyone have any ideas?

Do you have any rules that move incoming messages to folders? If so, add
"stop processing rules" to the actions on those rules. Also, rules that
"copy" leave a copy in the inbox.
