Dumping physical memory???...

I get the following error message when doing basically anything on my new
WinXP machine:

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000047 BCP2 : 8050A3AC BCP3 : F8C3AA38
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini050605-10.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER3.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

That message is followed by the "dumping physical memory" message.

The machine is a 2200+ (VIA) with 640 mb RAM.

Can someone please help me solve this problem? Thanks.

How do you get 640mb of ram,if so,youre mismatching ram card size, which
can/could only be done on older socket 370 boards.Uninstall the 128mb or
the mismatched card, leaving two 256mb or 1 512mb,you might even need
to clear the CMOS before you restart.

Hi,

Most likely a driver error (0x100008e is usually driver-related) and the
problematic file may be identified within the dump file. You can send it to
me at the address used here (the Mini050605-10.dmp file), just change the
subject line to "per req" (without the quotes) to get past the filters. I
will try to analyze it for you.
