Dumping AOL

R

Ron Baggett

Now that I have my cable modem I planned to dump AOL.
Unfortunately, my Internet Explorer runs slower than my
phone line connection. Oftentimes, IE hangs up or
displays "page cannot be displayed". I have downloaded
the current patches and have selected the "fix my
problem" link on the "PCBD" page. It appears I am doomed
to keep AOL or try Netzero or something. Please reply to
my email adress, rbaggett1953 at aol dot com.

Thank you

Sadly I have run into the same problem. I have problems
running certain things through my IE version that's not in
AOL. Yet, I open up AOL, and I get everything to work
fine....and I've done the same thing, I've added patches
to "fix" things, and somehow it doesnt run faster, but
slower. I hate keeping AOL, but it works in a pinch.
