Dumb Newbie Questions - Outlook 2003

I want to thank you for reading this post.

In Outlook 2003 how do I do the following:

1) In mail how do I make the Favorites Folders pane
disappear in the navagation pane
2) When composing a new mail, when I click the to button
and select contacts, I see a seperate line for each person who has a
fax number. Can I make this stop?

I worship anyone who can help me on this as my technical
superior!

1) Can't. Use another view instead, like Folder List

2) Every version of Outlook has used this behavior. The standard behavior
for the Outlook Address book has always been to display all electronic
addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed. The only
way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a different
field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha character) so
that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
