Outlook SP2

After applying SP2 to Outlook 2007 my reading pane got changed to the
default and my favorite folders disappeared. Is this normal for SP2?
Are there other changes it makes that I need to be aware of? If so, is
there a list of everything that it changes in the Outlook profile.

Those are not usual changes - it sounds like the profile had some corruption
so outlook redid the nav pane.

The white paper has all the changes - offhand, you'll see a new icon in the
tray when you close outlook; the time zone tool is removed from tools,
options, calendar options; you'll see a note in the infobar on items in junk
mail telling you if the junk mail folder put the message there.

I've got the same problem as Kenny, and I don't think Diane really answered
the question. I think something is wrong with SP2 update last night

The same thing happened to me. The AMAZING fix is to turn navigation off and
then turn it back on -- poof everything reappears...

View --> Navigation --> Off
View --> Navigation --> On
