DualBoot Window?

B

Blue Angel

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of the dualboot window that
gives you the chose of which operating system you want to boot to. I'm
getting an error after I reformated and remover WinXp Pro and just
left Vista Ultimate installed, now I have that DOS boot window popping
up on every bootup and I would like to remove it if I can.
Thanks:

John:
I did what you stated and it gives me an error when installing it but
it does finish. I think this is due to I'm running the 64bit version
of Vista.

I copied the information from the boot manager and I'm not sure what
what I should edit.
Please note the following information:

All I can say is *proceed at your own risk*.

I'm no expert on this issue and have no
idea about the 64-bit version of Vista but
I think I would just open VistaBootPro
and go to...'Manage OS Entries' and
see if both operating systems are listed.

Then I would select the OS I no longer
want and delete it.

Also you may want to resize your partition
to regain the now unused hard drive space.

Good luck.
