Dual mouse setup

I have a user who claims to have had a dual mouse setup. 1 Ps/2 and 1 USB
with no 3rd party software and both independent of each other ie left and
right buttons could be controlled without changing the other.

We have a team of 20 engineeers and nobody else has seen this setup so we
think she is asking the impossible. Can it be done?

I had this years ago with a thing called Y-Mouse. Before USB was around.

you should be able to just plug both mouses in and it should work if
they are plug and play.
