I want the same screen on two monitors for client review during income tax
preparation. I installed an ATI Radeon R9000 for multiple monitors and find
I can only drag a window from one screen to the other. I would like the
second monitor to display my work as it progresses. I can not find a
"clone" option; only "extend my windows desktop to this monitor". Do I need
a different graphics card? Is there another method? Is it possible?

Don in Colorado

Clone should be an option of the ATI dual monitor 'options' software /
driver
It used to be called Hydravision, I assume it still is
You did install the supplied drivers, as per instructions, didnt you?

You are not quite doing it the right way.

Making sure that the 'Extend my windows desktop ...' box is *not* checked;
click on the graphic for monitor 1 and then click the 'Advanced' button.
Now select the 'displays' tab. You should be looking at a choice of display
devices. Click the red 'power' button for your second monitor, and the
button should turn green and the display should now appear on your second
device. Selected this way, the same display appears on both monitors.

I screwed up and didn't install the new drivers. Installed them and it's now
working. Many thanks!!

It's now working---Thank You!!!!!
